British children of the '90s may recall the character Mr. Blobby from the BBC series Noel's House Party. A couple of theme parks were constructed around Mr. Blobby, but they didn't operate for long. One, in Cricket St. Thomas, Somerset, still exists, but it is closed and decaying.
