Refueling Stop

(YouTube link)

This reminds me a little of the guy with the homemade flying machine in the movie The Road Warrior, although he had helicopter blades. A "commuter" of sorts was spotted refueling at a gas station in Russia. Too bad he had to wait at the runway highway so he could merge into traffic for takeoff! -via I Have Seen the Whole of the Internet

I don't know about how it is in a post-911 USA, but back in "the day" a single-seat ultralight could be flown without a pilot's license. A gyrocopter, as seen in The Road Warrior, actually did need a pilot license of some sort. I don't recall if a two-seat ultralight (like in the video) needed anything special.

I'm pretty sure driving an ultralight on the highway in the USA is frowned upon, though.
