Getting Up on the Wrong Side of the Bed Saved a Utah Woman's Life

Getting up on the wrong side of the bed usually means a bad thing for most people, but not to Wanda Lee Denhalter of St. George, Utah. It may have just saved her life:

Wanda Lee Denhalter was asleep in the master bedroom of the home when the boulder hit.

Scot Denhalter said his wife heard the rumbling and mistook it for himself and their son knocking on the door. Instead of getting out of bed on her side, which is what Wanda typically did, she rolled over to her husband’s side to get up. The boulder hit the back wall of the house, pinning Wanda in the bedroom and leaving her with a broken jaw, a broken sternum and a large gash on her leg.
