Fire and Ice: Firefighter's Water Froze on a Blazing Building

How cold was it in Chicago? Let's put it this way: it was so cold that when firefighters fought the fire in a blazing abandoned warehouse, the water froze while the building was still on fire!

The Chicago Tribune has the photo gallery that you simply must see: Link - via Metafilter

Yes, it is/was/continues to be really friggin cold here! It was around -2F (-18C) on Tuesday.

According to the radio news this morning that building is on fire again because of it rekindling itself. The cold and ice forming is obviously not helping them.
