Men Try Out Labor Pains

Self-inflicted torture? Dennis Storm and Valerio Zeno are the hosts of the Dutch TV show Guinea Pigs. Last week they explored what women experience (sort of) by submitting to simulated labor pains via electrodes, to the delight of the audience and women who administered them. The difference is that they only did it for ten minutes, and they did not simulate the actual birth. See the video (in Dutch) at Time. Link

I had electro stimulation therapy for months following a pair of accidents. While the enforced cramping at maximum can be painful, it is entirely tolerable. Labor must be many times worse.

Actually, they endured it for TWO HOURS, not just ten minutes and at an intensity that doctors determined is comparable with the pain women feel during contractions.
So, not during labor, but only for the contractions pre-labor.
I've seen the interview with the guys and the people who administered the shocks on dutch tv.

i heard someone describe labor being compared to passing a kidney stone. i never passed a stone so i cant compare but if it is close to the pain may i never get one. labor pains is crazy pain. i cried afterwards cause i couldn't believe the crap i just felt.(low tolerance to pain, lol)

BTW: These are the same people who ate each-other's flesh (Yes, human flesh. They had a part of their thighs removed and ate each-other's meat, properly prepared) and prepared and ate a fry-up in fat retrieved from liposuction (I think that's next week's episode)
