That's what my brother & I did too. I didn't even know the stickers could be pealed off until reading Neatorama (many years later). ;-) I don't remember how we came up with the idea to take it apart, as it was pre-internet days.

A lot of idiots cheat by peeling the stickers off and reapplying them, but that ruins the stickers and makes it obvious what you did.
I always just took mine apart!

The easiest method is to start with a solved cube and then mess it up...and then play the video in reverse.
