I guess that's one way of looking at the story. Are we sure this movie is okay for children to watch? -via Criggo

OMG, that is such a good question. Here's the thing, a tornado, an act of God if you will, threw her house into the sky, and then gravity took over, and it landed on the ruby shoe wearing old witch, Nuff said. I don't thing Allstate, State farm, or others would pay out for something like that. It was truly an act of God. But. But, if Dorothy had some way of navigating the house that would be something entirely different. But, what jury would convict a 16-year old girl of steering her flying house from her bed. Come on now. Maybe Toto was the true mastermind of this whole event.

Hmm. Well, now I have to wonder: was Dorothy liable for damages when her house landed on the Wicked Witch of the East?

Actually Dorothy never met the Wicked Witch of the East, her house landed on her before proper introductions could be conducted. Also, the 4 main characters didn't set out to kill anyone, who would have guessed that water would melt the old hag?

If only Dorothy and the Wicked Witch of the West had simply traded the broom for the ruby slippers, their entire conflict could have been avoided.
