Just when you thought Alice in Wonderland couldn't get any more psychedelic, we drop these illustrations by Dali on you and your mind is officially blown!
Here's more about this amazing series by Dali:
In 1969, Salvador Dali produced a stunning series of illustrations for Lewis Carroll’s classic children’s tale Alice in Wonderland—in Brainpickings’ words, it was “a collaboration of epic proportion”.
These illustrations were then published in book form—containing all twelve drawings, one for each chapter—and went on to become one of the most highly coveted art book of all times.
The artist managed to render the dream-like content of the story even more surreal with his vivid and colorful signature style in this rare collectible tome.
A copy of this sought after book was last seen on Amazon, retailing for a hefty US$12,900—luckily for you, you can see all the digital prints of the illustrations right here without paying a cent.
Apparently 1969 was a very good year for tripping out!
