Three New Zealand soldiers, Corporal Luke Tamatea, Lance Corporal Jacinda Baker, and Private Richard Harris were killed by an IED (improvised explosive device) in Afghanistan in August. When their bodies were returned to Burnham Military Camp in New Zealand, they were greeted by fellow Kiwi soldiers in dress uniform who performed a tradition Maori Haka for their fallen comrades. This made my day. I always picture Freddy from Deadlist Catch ( of Maori descent) when I see a haka.
