WTF is wrong with that poor rat? It's not a naked mole rat, does it have a disease? It doesn't even have whiskers. Is it on chemotherapy?

This rat was bred to be hairless, so it's purely genetic. I think it also has rex genes in it which make the whiskers very short. I used to have a rex hairless rat. He was a little sweetheart. They are very very nice pets. Some rats are afraid of water and hate taking baths, so this little guy's owner is very lucky.

Those type of rats are great pets if you like animals that 'snuggle', because they love your body warmth.
