It's more likely that SHE is displeased with the work - this is a calico cat and calicos are usually always female. Male calicos are very rare. If you do come across a male calico, he'll be sterile, so don't get any ideas about breeding him cuz it ain't gonna happen.
This kitty sure is a pretty little girl, and gentle, she has a wonderful temperament, I can tell.
