What a Tattoo Removal Procedure Looks Like

(Video Link)

I've heard that tattoos can be removed with lasers, but I had no idea that it could be done so quickly. In just a few minutes, huge swaths of this man's sleeve tattoo vanish.

Black ink is easily removed. The problem is with very colorful tattoos. Red, pink, purple may necessitate several runs of laser treatment. That is when it gets expensive. Me, I just live with my tramp stamp :p

That is so cool. Thanks for posting, I am going to have a tattoo removed and it's great to see what I'm in for - and that it works so much better than it did a few years ago!

I had some crappy home tattoos removed by the same method. Once those blisters heal, you can hardy tell the difference. In fact after one treatment people said my tattoos were darker. Eventually it took a dozen treatments, and you can still kinda see where they were.

Another problem- even if the ink isn't as dark as the skin, it will still be visible as it's a different colour. Further treatments can leave whitish blue splotches where your cool tribal piece was.

Just sayin' is all.

The scars heal, i mean they use the same sort of lasers to actually remove scars. but they still do a couple passes, maybe after the arm has healed from the first time.
