Elephant Playing the Harmonica

Meet Shanti, a 36-year-old Asian elephant at the Smithsonian's National Zoo. She turned out to be quite the musical pachyderm: she loves to play the harmonica!

I giggle and clap my hands like I'm five when I see elephants at the zoo.

Good job elephant -- I never got the hang of harmonika. But try a trombone!

Poor elephant so bored and depressed with nothing to do and on display...it is very sad to see captive elephants. Not neat.
