Doctor Who and Scooby-Doo Are the Same Show

They get into a mystery machine and go on adventures, seemingly at random. There's a talking dog. It's the same show.

It's obvious who the Daphne figure is. But who's the Shaggy of Doctor Who?

I think that's more true of Torchwood. Wellll, the episode "Countrycide" anyway.

Actually, nearly everything since 1975 is a remake of "Scooby Doo" in one way or another. In "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", Buffy made references to her 'Scooby Gang' long before Sarah Michelle Geller did the Scooby Movie. You could also see the crew of the Next Gen Enterprise as a Scooby Gang (with Data as the anti-Shaggy). Even Buck Rogers was a sci-fi Scooby Doo, just not the original series, the one with Scrappy Doo.

Or, going back, you could say Scooby Doo copied from the ORIGINAL Doctor Who.
