Two years ago, Julie "Bunny" Rodgers and Willie "Bear" Pittman met at IKEA, so what better place to get married?
'She mentioned IKEA and the fact that on Tuesday the special was meatballs,' said Pittman. 'So we came out for a meal and enjoyed each others company so much when we walked around the entire store.'
Taking their time wandering around the famously ambient-lighted labryinth-like Swedish store, the pair came to think something special was beginning. 'As we're leaving, we get yoghurt cones and we're on the way to the parking lot when it hits me,' said Rodgers. 'I turned to him and said, 'This is one of the best dates I've ever had,' to which he said, 'This is a date?'
Exactly two-years-later when Rodgers phoned the store to arrange the wedding, staff offered up the space for a free of charge wedding.
