Vancouver Bans Bagpipes

Want to torture entertain us with your bagpipe in Vancouver, Canada? Not so fast: the city has outlawed the torture musical instrument for noise complaints.

Huzzah or boo? Whatever you say, the bagpipers are bleating their complaints though thankfully none have resorted to picking up the nuclear option equivalent of musical instruments, the vuvuzela.

@PalmSpecialist
You only know about bagpipe's use by the Commonwealth army, you don't know the history of these instrument enough. There are dozens of bagpipes in the world, mostly used for play music and party. And some are damn loud.

The bagpipes are NOT a musical instrument – unless you are an insensate fan of war! Check your history. Bagpipes are "that" loud and noisome because they are an instrument of war, designed to scare and intimidate the enemy! They were NEVER meant to be entertaining!
