Counting for Mutants



Whoever designed this textbook page on counting in Chinese has a sense of humor, or they just didn't want to draw two hands for each number. Link

It is a book of Chinese as a second language (for English speakers). Notice the answer key at the bottom of the page is in English. Based on that, I am guessing this is aimed at people who can already count and the hands are meant to be humorous.

@antoine It's Chinese. Japanese Kanji uses the same characters, of course, but there is Chinese pinyin next to the characters for pronunciation. yi-er-san rather than yichi-ni-whatever.
