In the first episode of Machinima's new geek-tacular webseries Super Power Beat Down, the original TV Batmobile from the 60s TV show is set against the 1989 Tim Burton version in a drag race with some rather surprising results.

Why was the old batmobile closer to the camera during the "race" but on the other side of the newer batmobile at the finish line? Also, why were they changing leads so often and why was the camera car able to pass them?

Yes, it was fake. You have to sort of expect this when they match up two hollywood props.

It doesn't matter which is faster because they are props. Which is cooler is what matters and for my money it's the original. The styling on the '89 version tries way too hard to be dark a menacing and as a result just comes off looking really fake.
