Balcony Pools Hanging in the Air



There's demand for more luxury housing in Mumbai, India, and the architecture firm of James Law is pitching its design for a huge residential complex. Among its features are small pools off the balconies that seem to hang in mid-air.

I totally agree with Chuck - - one flaw in that glass, or maybe an earthquake that cracks it (or, in my neighborhood, a stray bullet) and you would be part of a temporary 100 foot waterfall with a tragic ending at the bottom. I would NEVER get into one of those....

When that "unbreakable" glass shatters, the heavy flow of water will certainly help the initial clean-up of the internal organs that splash across the pavement below.
