Make Your Own Assassin's Creed Arm Blade

It looks like a self-inflicted injury waiting to happen.

That would be like making a Go to Jail card in the UK.

I spent way too much time thinking about how to make these things, my design involves a rotating cuff that acts like a lock so you can freely use your hand and the blade only comes out when you rotate your wrist 45^ out and pull your wrist back to shoot the blade out. This maintains mobility while keeping all your pretty etzio fingers away from an oncoming blade.

If you watch them pull the blade in the game they do rotate their hand a bit and flick the wrist back. Still not sure how they get it back in automatically though....

Like Travis Bickle's wrist-gun.

In Assassin's Creed 2 you need to have this repaired by a young Leonardo Da Vinci to equip it. Definately my favourite weapon - nice and slender to easily slip between ribs. =)

Oh yeah, seems akward to have your finger bent to pull the trigger. It looks dangerous to yourself.
