Myanmar Snub-nosed Monkeys Photographed Alive

In 2010, scientists announced the discovery of a new primate species, the Myanmar Snub-nosed Monkey, which we posted here. At the time, the only known specimen was a carcass. Now, photographs of a group of these monkeys have been taken with a camera trap in the mountains of Kachin state in Burma. Researchers are especially excited to see that this critically endangered species is producing babies. Link -via Geekosystem

Those are some ugly monkeys.

Supposedly their nostrils point up and they have been observed sitting with their heads between their knees during rain showers inorder to keep the water out of their noses.

Ghost of Liz Taylor - (in Michael Jackson's voice) That's not right. We are the world, those are my children. Bobo and I had a secret family....

LMAO ROTF!! I know it's not politically correct but I thought the same thing!! Being black and white myself, I just think Micheal Jackson (born black and turned white) is a joke.
