Well, you probably won't actually be able to, but if you really are opposed to the Watchmen prequel, you can always take a stand and sign the petition to get the movie newly proposed comic book stopped before it starts.
While there's always a good chance themovie publication won't get completed, something tells me a petition with less than 300 signatures won't have much to do with it.

Let it happen. While Watchmen (according to many) is the best comic book series or mini-series ever printed, a movie-version of a prequel will not ruin the actual product. The television mini-series "Scarlet", a sequel to Gone With The Wind, did not ruin the original. The film version of A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen did not ruin my reading of the comics (or their much older character sources). A prequel to Watchmen will not ruin the original comics.

Also, this is mis-labeled, this is about comic books, not more movies.

Who cares, I mean really? 99% of comic book movies are crap anyway, if you don't like it, don't watch the movie, it's not like it 'ruins' Watchmen.

Actually, I think this petition is about a proposed series of comic book prequels, not movie prequels.

I actually loved the movie and think if the prequel was done the same then it should be great.
