I could see someone buying a network of tunnels such as this and use augmented reality or virtual glasses of some sort to make a semi-real MMO enviornment or at least a multiplayer FPS.

Old stuff. The youtube video is dated November 2009.
As of December 2011, nothing has been done, it's not been sold, and all that lovely telephone exchange and stuff is slowly succumbing to dry rot.
The potential for this place is amazing, but the government are just being like a dog in a manger with it.

I don't see why the government officials would be worth saving as opposed to anyone else. They are not great at anything including their jobs. Wouldn't it be better to save the best and the brightest instead?
