As I watched the beginning of this video, I thought, "Why doesn't anyone just get a gun?" Then, at the 2:20 mark, everything suddenly made sense. I never saw that one coming.

Not to me it didn't. Guns don't exist in the imagination? Never played cowboys and indians as a kid?
But even assuming an imaginary world without guns: if you have magic powers; why bother with the lightsabers?
