Having actually owned several standard poodles, they are very patient and do tend to put up with just about anything. I still think this was a weird thing to do to a very good dog.

Not saying mutts are perfect, they have their troubles too. I'm just making a point.

Oh geez.
Before this turns into another "poor dog" "this is animal cruelty" blahblah...
It is a creative grooming competition. The dogs are only like that a few hours, then they are washed and groomed with a regular ol poodle haircut.
These dogs are also competition dogs. That means they are pampered more than the average dog.

That's pretty awesome :D Would've been better if she had just done bones for the entire look, but that's still pretty cool.
Poor dog nothing.. I'm sure that dog is very loved and VERY spoiled.
