Horror Movies For Every Holiday

Sure we usually think of horror movies as a Halloween treat, but movie makers don't limit themselves to just one holiday.  Flavorwire has a slideshow featuring horror movies that feature just about every major holiday of the year.

From Black Night (Chirstmas) to Easter Bunny, Kill! Kill!, they've got them all covered. I'm a little disappointed that Silent Night, Deadly Night, but they only used one movie per holiday.

Personally, I haven't seen any movies on their list, but some of them certainly sound entertaining. Have you guys watched any of these?

Jill, how can you not have seen Leprechaun? Everyone's seen Leprechaun!
Thankskilling was ridiculously awesome. Black Christmas (the original 1976 version, not the 2006 remake) was simply awesome.

Bonus fact: the pilot episode for Tales From The Crypt was about a serial killer Santa Claus on Christmas Eve.

Another bonus fact: Horror icon Eli Roth made a trailer for a horror film that didn't exist called Thanksgiving that was included in the movie Grindhouse. Although many fans begged Roth to actually make the film, it never materialized. But I would have loved it if it did.

Red Bunny, as a horror movie fan, it's embarrassing. I've never seen Poltergeist either....on the other hand, I have seen Leprechaun in Da Hood (it was a crappy movie, but it was absolutely hilarious).

That Tales From The Crypt was cool, but it seemed to take a lot of influence from Silent Night Deadly Night.
