I had high hopes after reading a review about World War Z. After (painfully) sticking thru to the end of the book, it was pretty much a dismal disappointment. Good concept, but really really really poorly written. Might be one of the few times the movie is better then the book.

I enjoyed the book. Something different. Hope the movie will be the same.

I still have high hopes for this movie even though the released plot synopsis sounds nothing like the book and it is going to be rated PG-13. I guess I will have to wait for a trailer to see if I really want to see it. Its just strange to me that there was a bidding war to make this into a movie and then they go and change everything about the book that people loved.

So, it's going to be one of those "same name as the book but that's about it" films, huh? Well, I guess that's bound to happen, too.

But, maybe it this is well received, there will be a "Zombie Survival Guide: The Movie." *shudder*

Aren't mummies just a subclass of zombies? Once reanimated, a corpse is a corpse.
