It's very moist and hard to breathe because you are so deep under ground. The walls have black paint smudges on them because the North Koreans supposedly tried to say they were mining for coal, which is not naturally found in most of Korea.
The DMZ is a very emotional place to visit, especially the Freedom Bridge and Panmunjeon Station.
