Flatbread Tosser Has Mastered Flatbread Tossing

(Video Link)

I don't have any information about this video, but it clearly show a man who's mastered his trade. He flattens pieces of dough and throws them about twenty feet away to a co-worker, never missing the target at which he never even directs a glance. -via Ace of Spades HQ

Reminds me Dan Millman's Peaceful Warrior. Based on autobiographical information in Dan Millman's book of the same name. Dan a star college gymnast, honored among his friends, coach, parents and extraordinarily popular with women, runs into a lowly gas bar attendant he affectionately names "Socrates", an aged man wise in his years, who also demonstrates amazing athletic ability that puts Dan to shame. Socrates takes Dan under his wing and explains everything from how the universe works, to how his mind works and how to tap into his potential (by "taking out the trash" in Dan's head). The book and film were hailed as superb illustrations of "what every coach hopes to teach their students." But it is really more of a guide to truth and life. The "Garbage" in Dan's head amounts to everything he holds dear. When Dan outperforms others in the gym and excitedly tells Socrates about it, Socrates rebukes him "You're gloating! You are living in the past." The premise seems to be that if we could let go of all the unimportant mental chatter and tune-in to the reality around us, we could all achieve amazing feats like this, in everything we do. This early garage scene is Socrates demonstrating his amazing abilities and pointing Dan in the direction of self-evaluation.

It looks like one of the Indian food markets in Singapore. It's been five years since I was last there, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's where it was filmed.

The comments on the original video say it was taken in Kerala. There's also an earlier vid that seems to be taken at the same stall. What they're making, according to the comments on the original videow, is roti.

Note that the catcher is tossing the rolled-out breads onto the grill that guy #3 is working, with the fire below it. That earlier video features tossing directly to the guy working the grill.

This an amazing video, but as an earlier commenter mentioned, why not just stand close(r) to the grill? Unless this is stall where people come to watch this guy do his thing?
