Jill, would it not be more properly referred to as "media" rather than "mediums"?
After all, I do not believe that we are talking about the plural noun for psychics of supranormal sensitivity, are we?
I might add that the lack of use of the personal pronoun "who" - as in [i]"12 cool artists [b]who[b] use books as their mediums"[/i] - tends to give credence to the suggestion that you may well be functionally illiterate.
Look, I know, it's the [b][i]idea[/b][/i] that counts, not the grammar, but really, as a civilisation, we have to draw a line in the sand at some point.
