The New Summer Trend: Cone-ing

Video Link

This made me giggle. Video comedian Alki Stevens is trying to make cone-ing the hot (cool?) new trend for the summer. Here's what you do: go to a fast-food drive-through. Order a cone. When you drive up to the window to receive your tasty treat, grab it by the ice cream, not the cone. I just love the expressions of the bewildered fast food workers and love imagining them turning around and saying, "You would not believe what this guy just did..."

What a waste of a tasty treat. It was funny the one time, but after that, it's just stupid. You know what would be cooler? Buying ice cream for a homeless person, or someone in a shelter. Or take one over to your Mom!

wasting food can be gross, but i think in the US where food is generally overabundant, wasting food (or even donating leftovers to the needy) might actually be good way to promote improved public health

@all those who talk about wasting food, it's a mcdonald's freakin' ice cream, it has no nutritional value, it's not food!
My favorite was when he already had one.

I enjoyed it. Nobody got hurt, and some of the switches (double cone, giving change, jamming the confection in his mouth when the worker was left holding the cone) were nice twists.

I thought it was funny. Didn't have me totally cracking up, but it was goofy and fun.
I also liked the one where he already had an icecream :D
