Pedigree in New Zealand has launched an online toy that analyzes your face and matches you with a dog that is up for adoption. I was matched with Shadow, a 7-month-old male Huntaway {wiki} mix, which is a breed of New Zealand sheep dog. He's a cute dog; too bad he's in Auckland. http://www.doggelganger.co.nz/ -via Pawesome

It has been reported elsewhere that the site is bogged down and takes a while to load. When it comes up with "Try again" it is apparently still loading and you just need to be patient. But when I tried to access the site I got "502 Bad Gateway".

Took forever to accept one, then matched me to the same dog as Miss Cellania. I think this is BS.

They match your picture with dog feces? That's disgusting? Oh, dog faces.

What's the point of matching someone up with a dog halfway around the globe? Sometimes the Internet should think first.

After an unsuccessful attempt with a human picture, I uploaded a photo of a boxer puppy.

Doggelganger also matched it to a Huntaway dog!
