Van Gogh was a vegetarian.

Disgusting. Why so many meat posts on neatorama? repulsion is not the reaction I want to have...

I don't think I'd recognize the original painting in this form had I not been told what it was.

Yeah, I can see the resemblance if you say it first. If I had to guess, I wouldn't have had it right. Otherwise, it is pretty disturbed.

And if you mean 'render it completely unidentifiable' by saying this is an improvement, then yes.. he did 'improve' Starry Night.

It's not a question of eating preference. In fact, it's more of a waste of perfectly good meat that makes this a little sad. Hopefully, they didn't render it unsafe for cooking.

It might be somewhat of an overstatement of medium. It could have been done just as effectively in pen and oink.
