Edward Reid: Britain's Got Talent Susan Boyle 2.0?

For his Britain's Got Talent 2011 audition, 35-year-old drama teacher Edward Reid sings an old classic we all know and love, but with a twist ...

Check out why he's been called Susan Boyle 2.0: Link [YouTube]

Susan Boyle 1.0 wasn't even Susan Boyle 1.0 - she was Paul Potts 2.0. Paul Potts (series 1 winner) did this first, if we're talking about 'man/woman producing unexpected singing voice'.

An addition to my previous comment, because Edward comes from a theatrical background, maybe he will diversify into musical variants of poetry or Shakespeare's plays. Lots of possible further expansion of this style.

He's more woman than Susan Boyle will ever be.

Cute idea, but can he sustain the interest? I found it more interesting that the Hoff is embarrassing himself over in England now.
