This Year's Best April Fools' Day Pranks around the Web

(Video Link)

Today is the most difficult of all days on which to be a Neatorama author because we must attempt to distinguish between the neat real and the neat fake. Confusing hijinks abound on this day, such as the subscription paywall that our friends at Boing Boing instituted (they had me falling for it for about ten seconds).

My favorite prank is Google's new motion-controlled email program, but you can view roundups of some of the best pranks this year at Flavorwire, Technabob, and Urlesque.

That's why I'm not a fan of April Fool's day. The number of calls to 9/11 increases, mostly as a result of fools joking around. "Oh but we are just having fun". Yup, and that is obviously of paramount importance.

I have to admit, just having those two gestures for reply and reply all, would increase my workflow considerably.

As for what neat things to share on April 1st, go to an amassed backlog of thing from the past that were not shared.

Minecraft's joke was pretty funny, Locked chests would show up in worlds and direct you to a store like TF2's where you could buy keys for the chest, and things like Creeper Saddles, lol
