Pencil Sharpening Drill Attachment

It's isn't as classy and refined as artisanal pencil sharpening, but it's nonetheless clever. A company called C.H. Hanson makes a power drill attachment that will sharpen pencils. You can watch a video of it at the link.

Or you could chuck the pencil in the drill and stick it in a regular sharpener if you're so lazy that everything needs to be automated.

If you've got such a drill and are anywhere near a piece of sandpaper or powered sander, you can sharpen a pencil very easily. Do it all the time in a pinch. Even works on a bit of smooth pavement, if you don't mind being a bit of a graphite vandal.

Got one from a local hardware store. It was a bonus in a can of shop pencils, which I have to keep open on my workbench coz I keep losing them (small ears?).
It gives you a sharp point in seconds. Excellent!
