Dog Refuses To Leave Injured Friend

Saw this the other day. I had wondered about their condition.

Would love to see a cat do that.

aww I am so happy to find a update on the 2 and it did make me cry...

so thankful they were rescued and treated right away. I'd love to own a dog like that.

Yet another reason why I like dogs more than people.

It makes you wonder how many people would do the same in such a case... it's great to hear that there's a happy end to this sad story.

I wish that people would treat each other in the same way this dog did. It was an honour to see the compassion and loyalty of the dog.

I hope they are both making a full recovery. Its so sad to watch this but I really hope they are okay.
Observer "Would love to see a cat do that" I am a cat lover (overall animal lover) and own two. I have seen cats in great distress when their friend has been injured or has died.

Good post Robert, although a more sad ending. I am wondering who was filming this video and why they didn't actually do anything.

Getting back to the more loyal animals - it goes to show that all animals have that sense of helping and loyalty to their friends. Cats are always mis-judged and its pretty unfair. Both cats and dogs make great friends and both get very distressed when something happens to either or an owner.

I love love love this story. It just proves dogs are far more loyal and loving than some humans.

Yes, let's all use this as a springboard to bash humans. Can't we keep our agendas out of the comments and just enjoy the movie?

i hope these two got to stay together. i love dogs, can't imagine my life without them. even though i'm a dog person - i can easily imagine cats doing this too.
