Bach's Toccata and Fugue, Played on a Glass Harp - Neatorama

Neatorama has recently featured Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, played on floppy disk drives. Several years ago we showed the piece played on an accordion. But we somehow missed this version, played on a glass harp. The instrumentalist is Robert Tiso.

Unbelievable. One of the best things I've ever seen on Neatorama. Of course, that outs me as a music major in college. But great jumping jujubees, that was amazing. My hat is off to this guy. When he finished my wife and I both spontaneously applauded the computer screen.

BTW, that is not a glass harp - they're simply glasses. Google glass harp to see a real one. They're impressive.

drumach, this IS a glass harp: "A glass harp (also called musical glasses, singing glasses, angelic organ, verrilion or ghost fiddle) is an instrument made of upright wine glasses."

What you're probably thinking of is a "glass harmonica."
