In 1984, science fiction author Arthur C. Clarke submitted "siseneG" to
Analog magazine. Clarke's cover letter was as terse, stating "This is the only short story I've written in ten years or so. I think you'll agree that they don't come much shorter."

I learned recently that due to a blood transfusion, Isaac Asimov sadly, died from HIV complications.
I don't remember who wrote it, but that is the shortest sconce fiction story ever written...
