These candies are for people who like to play with their food. They look like sushi but are actually made of grape flavored jello, gummy candy and soft candy. I'm almost certain that the ingredients in these liquids and powders would be found in a lab rather than in the food group pyramid so healthy eaters might like to look and not chow down.

Oh, and it had the flavor of paste. Not sweet at all. =P
I dropped a few words:
From algae extracts of from vegetable gums
- jellying agents from algae extracts or , the same used in many commercial snacks on US and UE market
- calcium lactate the red drops bath: a kind of baking powder and a milk derivate
- alginate solution for the red drops: a product made with dried seaweeds, actually a very healthy food since it helps in pressure problems and in weight loss
- sugars and starches, to create thin films of edible paper. Corn starch or potato starch is commonly used
- E120 (red dye from cochineal, used in many food products) and E100 (curcumin, a cheapest saffron alternative, excellent for yellow color)
So, nothing actually pertaining to a lab..
