No, but I'm sure the Health Department is totally OK with this.
This monkey works in a Japanese restaurant like it's no big deal.
It looks like something from the darkest corners of DeviantArt, but it's just Japan being Japan.
According to a blog post written by the folks who took the video, the restaurant had terrible service. Imagine.
Thank you for featuring our post about Kayabukiya and the monkey waiters (waitresses?) We haven't been back there since, but so many people demanded an update that we may have to visit the place again.
In the meantime, there's also a cat cafe in our town, where you can enjoy a lovely lunch (or dinner, and the food is delicious) in the company of 30 cats. No, they don't serve cats there. The restaurant doubles as a cat shelter and all their cats are available for adoption.
