Talk about unintended consequences! This video shows what would more likely happen to Endor at the end of Return of the Jedi if the normal laws of physics applied to the Star Wars universe. -via Boing Boing


Sorry kiddies; the"Star" wouldn't mass enough to do that
kind of damage. Nor would it break apart in such a tidy
mass- it would fracture into uneven lumps according to it's construction. And, the majority would move away from the planet- only a narrow sliver of material would be in the right arc ti impact the planet.
