The marching band of the University of Hawaii performed this carefully choreographed piece during halftime at a recent game against the University of Southern California. The band members formed a stick figure football player moving across the field and kicking a ball.

Yeah, it's cool, but a lot of university marching bands did stuff like this back in the 70's and 80's.

half-time is the only time I care to watch any type of school/college sport. The rest is just excess

Do any football marching bands use bagpipes in the USA? I would have thought they would sound great in an environment like that.

Larfin: I bet they would sound great, but high school and college students don't commonly learn how to play bagpipes.
