Does SNL really want to reach that demographic? I woulnd't bother, because kids know what is funny, and what ain't. And SNL ain't.

I would support this with the caveat that they need to coax Frank Oz out of Muppet retirement to perform the character. The subsequent performers do not have his gifts of ad-lib and improvisation.

This four minute clip is better than the entire season of SNL so far.

The Muppets were a regular part of SNL in its early years. If you haven't seen Scred and King Ploobis, from the land of Gorch, then you are missing out on some great Muppet humor.

So, it seems fitting that Cookie Monster help reunite the Muppets with SNL once again. Too bad Jim Henson cannot return with them.
