View from the International Space Station

This excellent image captured by NASA shows astronaut Tracy Caldwell Dyson gazing out of a window on the International Space Station. It was taken last September. Dyson, a chemist, went into orbit on April 2, 2010 and remained on the station for 174 days.

Hey Vonskippy, do you work 24 hours a day? You do realize that the astronauts actually live on the space station and don't get to go back to earth at the end of each day, right?

So at 9 bazillion dollars a pound, we're paying them to stare out the window. No wonder NASA is getting their budget hammered flat. Stick with robots - at least when they stare, their recording it for everyone to watch and doing it in 14 different wavelengths.
