that's so cool Frau...you, making this so many years ago - and in Mr Barker's art class of all places. what are the chances? you really should consider producing a series of well-made videos of ALL of the things you made in Mr Barker's art class - or anywhere else, circa any time else - and posting them on Youtube for everyone to use and enjoy. that way, we'll all know that you've 'been there & done that' first and we can learn from your experience. you know, not everyone had the advantage of snagging Mr B's class as an elective - not for lack of trying. heck, i'd commit a crime just to get my hands on a copy of his syllabus.

ZOMG U R SOOOOO RIGHT!!! I can teach people how to make wire figures, how to draw perspective, how to make sculptures from plaster cast in a milk carton, drawing on the right side of the brain, tie dye projects, clay projects...ZOMG!!! I can introduce people to art on YouTube and someone will post it to a blog, like they have never seen or heard of crafting. I will look like some sort of genius!!

You can make aluminum a bijillion times easier to work with by annealing it. Just heat it red hot, it will become very malleable once cooled. It is very useful for making gaskets.

I've got a cool chopper bicycle with a crappy paint job. I'm stealing that idea to make an embossed tubing wrap. Already have lot's of glue. And cheap to do!
