In Hamburg, Germany, artist Ralf Schmerberg made an igloo out of refrigerators. There's an electric meter outside that displays how much electricity it consumes. Schmerberg intends for the exhibit to serve as commentary on consumption and waste.

I agree with Randi. Though their work is appreciative, cannot accept the thought of how electricity is being wasted.

It's pretty cool looking but this is why I have a hard time accepting credibility from artists; To comment on how wasteful people are with electricity the artist makes something that consumes an immense amount of electricity for no purpose at all. Makes him just seem like a preacher type, "do as I say not as I do"
