The Cube is a new skyscraper in Birmingham, UK, that contains a parking garage. Drive your car inside, stop, and get out. Lifts will carry and shift your car around to an open slot. So there's no need to go driving around looking for an available space. At the link, you can watch a BBC video of the machine in action.

Great idea. It will save space needed for parking. Its a best option for corporate parking where large number of employees are working.

philadelphia currently has two condo buildings with this feature.. its kind of bizarre to have have the garage talk to you telling you to make sure your windows are up and the doors are locked.. or to pull in a little towards the left...
