AMC are on a roll at the moment, they are untouchable. Im really looking forward to their Zombie mashup

Walking dead looks brilliant, shame its only going to be a mini series, we need this a permanent fixture.

There are a few interviews out, with Robert Kirkman. He is reported to be very happy with the way it is turning out.

@ Annoyed - It IS based on the graphic series of the same name.. The director Frank Darabont had asked Robrrt Kirkman about four years ago if he could get the rights to do the series.
Originally it was to be developed under a deal he had with NBC. NBC had thought it would be good, but the graphic nature of it all, would not allow it in prime time.
Darabont had "shopped" it around, and then AMC picked it up.

@LisaL- I will have to wait for it to go onto video, as I also do not have cable :(

Given that AMC is responsible for both Mad Men and Breaking Bad, I'm quite excited to see how they adapt the TWD graphic novels for this series.

Also, this makes me extra-annoyed that AMC is not yet available in HD on DirecTV.
