Credit Card Survival Tool

Credit Card Survival Tool - $3.95

Survive the urban jungle - carry this multi-functional Credit Card Survival Tool from the NeatoShop that's slim enough to fit in your pocket.

The stainless steel tool has 11 separate functions, tthough for the life of me, I can't find out why you'd need the sun compass.

You might want to have a sun compass if you wanted to know which direction you should be going :)

It's a pretty "neat" concept and the sun compass is worthy of it's own post.

yea for real. Like if you have a general idea of where you are and you know that, let's say, a river is due south of you, you would use the sun compass to make sure you're actually going south.

The apocalypse is here - zombies are clawing at your front door - but wait - you have this 10* in 1 "survival" tool - we're saved!!!!!!!!

I can see how having a 2" ruler will pretty much be the difference between life or death.

*can you really count "key chain hole" as one of it's functions?

A key chain holder on a metal device which has a saw and a knife. I dont think I want that in my pocket, I could see complications as in being scarred for life via cuts. Nice concept but think a wee bit more work is needed.

Quit your grousing! Have any of you seen a neater gift for under $5? This might be my client gift this Christmas. Discounts on bulk orders, ALex? Can I get it personalized?

Please, all MacGuyver needed was a swiss army knife, roll of duct tape, and a paperclip- and he could save the world. P.S. Won't that set off all sorts of alarms at the airport (because it's so light and thin that you forgot to leave it at home)? "No officer I'm not a terrorist, I just want feel handy and fifty thousand feet."

I have carried one of these in my wallet for the past few years. Yes, the saw does tend to rough up my hand when I use the knife. The ruler has come in handy several times for measuring bolts and other hardware. Bottle opener gets the most use by far. I can imagine using the "angle direction finder" as a compass using the watch-face method and the time on a cell phone, but is this really the intended use?
